We finally saw the release of Amsterdam based denim label's collaborative effort with Nike on the iconic Air Max 1. The sneaker is put together with raw denim and released in minimal quantities, a must-have for all collectors. The legendary Tinker Hatfield creation was infused with Japanese denim thanks to the undeniable expertise of DENHAM. The sustainable denim used is merged with buttery suede to give this sneaker a best of both worlds kind of vibe. We are once again treated to kakuju-tsunagi sashiko stitches throughout the upper of the silhouette, whilst Nihon Menpu Japan creates the checked denim. The details on this one are at a completely different level, with sustainable bamboo lace tips featuring. Despite all of the upgrades across the upper of the sneaker, the sole remains true to the OG 1987 design.
