This model marks a cross-pollinated project between Air Jordan and Nike SB, orchestrated by Pro-Skater Eric Koston. Released in August 2019 the inspiration for the shoe comes in part from Kostons youth, when he consistently missed out on the Air Jordan 1 silhouette, and the obvious heritage of the University of North Carolina colours that have attained legendary status in the footwear world. The design itself features a white-based leather upper supported by UNC blue detailing, Nike Swoosh and overlays. Finishing the style is the classic Wings logo on the heel, and Koston's signature on the inside tongue label.
